What’s the job?
The Assets team has responsibility for the repair, maintenance and improvement of the Council’s Housing Stock and all of the corporate buildings. The position is for an experienced and apprentice trained Plumber who is also capable of carrying out multi-skilling associated with plumbing tasks. The successful applicant will also be required to take part in a call-out scheme on a rotational basis.
Who are we looking for?
You should have significant experience in all aspects of plumbing, together with having the relevant qualifications. Being flexible, you will be responsible for your own workload and providing an excellent service to our customers. By building trust and having excellent interpersonal skills, you will quickly develop good working relationships with colleagues and partners. You should also be customer focused and business like, ensuring that the ethos of One ‘Team’ Selby is embraced.
